TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE CUSTOMERS
By completing the purchasing process you're agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions shown below. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Formation of contract
All requests to order items from Vino Wine Shop will be provisional and non-binding unless or until a "Confirmation of Order" email has been sent to the e-mail address of the registered user. For the avoidance of doubt a contract between the parties shall not be established until this takes place.
Privacy & Security
When you shop with Vino Wine Shop online we ask for information like your name, email address, delivery address and telephone number. We do not store any credit/debit card details. This information is necessary to enable us to process your order and liaise with you about your order.
Vino Wine Shop complies with all aspects of the Data Protection Act. When placing an order or requesting information from us, we do have to store the data you provide. Any data we hold will not be used for any mailings and will not be passed to any third party.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions
We accept all major credit/debit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro. For UK orders placed by post, you may also pay by cheque (please make payable to Vino Wine Shop). For your own protection, we suggest that you do not send cash in the post.
We do our best to ensure that prices shown on the website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, we’ll inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order. If we don’t receive an order confirmation within 14 days of informing you of the error, the order will be cancelled automatically. If you cancel, we’ll refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit/debit card for the goods.
We try to ensure that we have sufficient stock but know that some items sell faster than expected and although we'll always try to get stock replenished its not always possible. We'll provide the most up to date information we have on availability and will do our absolute best to ensure you get the items you want. Vino Wines accepts no liability arising from any inability to supply goods due to lack of stock other than returning any payments made to you.
Please be aware VINTAGES MAY VARY WITH THE PICTURE ONLY A REPRESENTATION OF THE LOOK OF THE WINE. We've attempted to ensure that the specification and description of all items is correct on the website and shows them off to the best of our ability. Sometimes they will be even better than you expected. As soon as an order is received, Vino Wine Shop will send you an email confirming its receipt. This email should be received at the very latest within 24 hours. If you do not receive an order confirmation email, please contact us using the methods outlined in the contact us section.
As a consumer you have the right to cancel your contract at any time during the period which starts on the day the contract comes into existence and ends on the expiry of seven working days, beginning on the day after the day of delivery of the items. If you want to cancel your contract you should notify us in the most appropriate way. In such circumstances we’ll happily accept any item or items making up the cancelled order provided that you have taken reasonable care of the items while they have been in your possession. We’ll refund the cost of rejected items or cancelled orders (including the original dispatch charge) within 7 days of receiving the item(s) back. Please note, however, that items are returned at your own cost and we recommend the use of a registered postal service for your protection.
Can I return my order?
We're happy to exchange or refund any purchase that doesn't prove suitable. Please pack purchases carefully and return them to the above address, in their original condition, with labels intact, within 28 days of receipt.
Limitation of Liability
The liability of Vino Wine Shop in contract (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the performance of this contract shall be limited to the price paid for the goods. Under no circumstances shall Vino Wine Shop be liable for any form of indirect or consequential loss, costs or expenses as a result of this agreement or contract.
When will I get my order?
The aim is to send out all orders within 48 hours of receiving them. You'll receive notification that your order has been dispatched. Standard UK delivery takes between 2-3 days after dispatch. Orders to Eire and Europe will take between 3-5 days after dispatch. Orders to the rest of the world will take between 7-10 days after dispatch.
Returns & Replacements
Customers have the right to cancel their order up to the point of despatch and any payment made will be refunded within 28 days. Customers have the right to cancel the order within seven working days of receipt of the goods. A full refund will be made for the goods once returned. The returned goods must be in their original packaging and adequately insured for the return journey. The cost of returning the goods will be the responsibility of the customer. Perishable goods are not returnable and payments for perishable goods will not be refunded. If the customer fails to return the goods following cancellation, Vino Wine Shop will be entitled to deduct the cost of recovering the goods from the customer. Where returned goods are found to be damaged due to the customers fault, the customer will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage.
Shipping & Delivery
Subject to stock availability, we aim to despatch within 24 hours of processing the order. (Orders placed on a Sunday may take slightly longer).
When will I get my order?
The aim is to send out all orders within 24 hours of receiving them. You will receive notification by email when your order has been dispatched.
Standard UK delivery takes between 2-3 days after dispatch.
Orders to Eire and Europe will take between 3-5 days after dispatch.
Orders to the rest of the world will take between 7-10 days after dispatch.
Delivery charges to international addresses will vary according to destination. We can only accept payment by credit card for international orders. We don't have any control over local customs authorities and cannot be held responsible should they wish to confiscate any particular items, delay shipment or charge import duty. VAT @ 20% will be deducted at the time of order for those residing in countries outside the EU. The VAT rate could vary and seems to go up more than down.
