SeaWolf takes its name from the Native American term for killer whales and was chosen as a recognition of Scotland's historical links with sugar production, importing rum and the Navy and from a more modern day link with the pods of Sea Wolves that are found around the Scottish coastline. It has a limited first run, with only 300 bottles being made available before the end of the year.
"We decided to make a white rum, distilled in Scotland (which is unique in itself) that was straight off the still (in essence) i.e. No ageing and worked well straight and as a base for a cocktails. It had to have both character, flavour, mouthfeel and body which can be difficult with an un-aged spirit but we hope we have delivered on all aspects."
